- Search Bandvest and find Artists who you believe in; you know they will succeed!
- Pledge money to support your favorite artists project. This is like a typical crowdfunding arrangement, only the rewards are fun and eccentric experiential rewards, and the artists are all high quality artists with an important artistic message and amazing skill!
- After you check out, if you supported the project for $20 or more, you will receive a unique promotion link to the artist’s Bandvest Artist Page.
- Share this link with as many people as you can. If the project raises $2,500 or more, you will become a paid promotion team member for a chance to earn money promoting the artist.
- The artist is sharing a % of their revenue for the next two years with Bandvest, and we are going to pay you and the other project supporters to promote the artist. The project supporters become the electronic street team. You are in business with the artist.
- The more clicks you generate with your unique promotion link, the larger piece of the revenue pie you earn. For example, in a typical arrangement, if the artist earns $250k, and you are responsible for 1% of the clicks generated, you will be paid $250. Not bad for sharing music you already love! If you crush it and are responsible for 25% of the link clicks, you will earn $6,250. None of these amounts are guaranteed, but if you work hard and so does the artist, everyone can succeed. No matter what, you will receive the rewards for your level of support. Even if an artist fails to be profitable, all is not lost.
- People who click your link and then also support the project help you gain an even larger piece of the pie, because you are credited with their activity too. Get in early, and stay at it!
- You are credited .5 clicks for all clicks generated by street team members you recruited (2nd degree), and .25 clicks for the people they recruited (3rd degree), and so on down the line. The earlier you get in, the larger your network becomes.
- You can track all of this activity on your Street Team Dashboard on the Bandvest platform. Don’t worry, you don’t have to know anything about math, how the downline clicks are calculated, or the specifics of your revenue share, we will show it all to you on your dashboard in a user friendly and easy to understand format. As long as you keep finding creative ways to get others to click your unique promotion link, we will take care of the rest.
- You are in business with the artist. They are encouraged to Include you in their release strategies, provide feedback for career decisions, and include you in the artist’s business inner workings. They will remain in contact with you following the end of their project. To this end, the artist will periodically change the destination of your unique promotion link to align with their release strategies etc. The link will stay the same, but it will send people to different places based on the artists business strategy. The artist will communicate with you as the destination of the link changes, so you can be an active part of their promotion strategy.
- In music, artists are paid once a quarter. We will pay you every time an artist is paid, so long as the payment is greater than $5. We will deduct payment and collection fees from the amount sent to you. You must have a PayPal or Venmo account to receive funds.
- Don’t want to promote the artist’s content? No problem. You can sit back and collect your reward. The artist will reach out to all backers regardless of promotion activity within a reasonable time to deliver their promised rewards.
